Originally by: BIZZAROSTORMY They dont even provide aa on windows. You have to diddle it on your graphics card. Which of course is lazy programming for a modern game, especially when they want to attract a lot of noobies. It should be buil...

3. EVE Mac makes me crazy ! Now i'll play on linux. - in Macintosh [original thread]
For one... My Mac client doesn't crash. Ever. On any of my computers. This is clearly an isolated issue, to you and a small group of people. For two... On the Mac client, a "disconnect" is easily confused for a "crash", since either results in th...

6. Poor Application Performance while running EVE - in Macintosh [original thread]
When you say 50%, do you mean 100/200? Is there any other process using CPU time? Specifically kernel_task? Cider may be using resources, but this is normal.

8. today's patch (march 26, 09) broke my client - in Macintosh [original thread]
The update took an ungodly amount of time for me. It hung at 95% for a good 10 minutes, but eventually finished with no problems. Reinstall, re-patch, don't touch it, and see if it fixes it.

9. HEY CCP YOUR PATCH DOESNT WORK, TELL US HOW TO FIX IT! - in Macintosh [original thread]
Not to sound rude, but it's not CCP's fault you have a download cap. Not saying it's yours, but EVE Online is an MMO. It's big. You need to download it. Also, since you're "PAYING FOR THIS SERVICE", maybe you should contact support? Or you could ...

14. No client is better than this client. - in Macintosh [original thread]
The problem is, people don't develop games for the mac very well. Take a look at Aspyr. The games they port to the mac are always awfully done. The games would perform better running the Windows version through cider than their mac versions. I fo...

20. Camera lock? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Edited by: Fraiser Hawkins on 21/07/2008 15:50:52 Nope. The zoom is relative to your ship's size. Things would look very ridiculous if you saw them to scale, as the pilot would.
